Thanks to the law relating to patronage, associations, and foundations, anyone interested in our rural cultural project and the values it embodies can contribute to its initiatives and innovations, I warmly thank them on behalf of all those involved in Jazz in Marciac.

If there is one thing Jazz in Marciac can be proud of and highly values, it is the long and strong support of its partners: friends, patrons, and sponsors. Ever since the 2003 law relating to patronage, associations and foundations, this initiative has been attracting a growing number of business companies and individuals.

The 45th edition of JIM confirmed this progression. More and more festival enthusiasts are willing to support it, identifying with the values it embodies. As we all know, Jazz in Marciac is an international event where, every summer, emerging artists and the most famous musicians offer the best of their talent. But its purpose goes far beyond music. Founded in 1978 to promote education for all, governed by a non-profit organization recognized as being of general interest, it wishes to share experiences and to favour encounters with others, whoever they are. Always driven by educational concerns, the festival provides access to culture for all audiences.

It also challenges clichés. Going against the generally admitted idea that rural areas are doomed to desertification, Jazz in Marciac is a formidable development tool for its region and, in its lush green setting, is fully committed to protecting the environment.

The Partners Club reflects this state of mind and the setting of this legal framework aims at a better organization of patronage and sponsorship. Open to everyone, from individuals to international companies, it offers its members the opportunity to support a reliable project close to them, while qualifying for tax exemption.
